That 318iS Baur.......
My Touring is H922PWP. Wonder if they were supplied by the same dealer? I've never seen another E30 with a PWP plate, until today. :D

Yes indeed Stu. You missed a VERY good meet, excellent turnout, 21 E30s and an E28 driven by a lunatic... Though there were a few lunatics in E30s too... What me? One of them? No, not me... winkeye

You took great pictures Gordon and we love the captions!

For Stubeedoo - My Baur was supplied by Carl Norris, Mustow Green near Kidderminster - but not to me though. The car had been owned by one family for 16 years and I took delivery of it from them exactly a year ago. I have the original sales cards - maybe same sales person if same dealer????

So near, yet so far!
Mine was supplied by David Richards BMW in Evesham.
Nice to see another one with a similar plate - even though mine has my private plate on now.
BTW, Baur's rock! I prefer them to convertibles.

I like the adaptability of the Baur, Targa tilted or out, rear roof up or down, the choices are almost endless.
Only thing I would like is to have frameless doors like the BMW cabs...

They've both travelled some to get to their current owners then Stu. I've still got the original plates on the car too - but would it be council to update them??
I agree with Gordon's comments re versatility of roof. Also no compromise on boot space either. I like the clean lines convertibles offer, but overall Baur is best (in my opinion - and Gordon's! and he's a Mod so must be right!!)

As I said, I'd love to modify one slightly to remove the door frames, and make the rear windows electric too...
Much smaller folding roof, so could put a much lower cover on the back shelf to reduce the bulge when the rear roof is lowered. Boot reduction again, I know, but that much less than a cab...

Better still, modify a cab to put a roll bar and front targa panel in. Would need a custom targa panel and rear canvas though...
