325i Touring,
Driven hard 150miles to a tank...
Carefully, could get 300miles.
But this doesn't happen!

My record, 325 Sal 364mi to a full tank.
My bro got 398mi to a tank driving to the south of france in his cab.
If i get 200mi or more on a tank then generally I'm happy.

316i, 550 at a push with the town driving I do, quite possibly over 600 with a few runs.
Very rarely fill up full tanks though, it's just extra weight

no particular increase in bhp but definate improvement in economy. I quite like the whistle/hum it makes in between gear shifts though.

Before I drove the 320 I was warned that it was drinking fuel to the tune of 12mpg. So I put a spare CTS (Coolant temp sensor) on to it. Which, funnily enough, came from a Vauxhall 2.0 8v engine. Same bits see. Bosch.
Then I managed aroudn 220 miles per 10 gallon tank.
Last week I managed the best ever. On a long motorway run at around 75mph followed by some big flowing A roads late at night I managed just over 300 miles on a full tank.
I've just picked up the 318 IS and it looks like it's going to do better than the 320.
