After not running my car at the Ultimate BMW Show, and regretting it:
I'm going to "the Pod" for a run what you brung day on either the 14th or 18th october with a few mates (depending on weather).
Thought it would be nice to get a small group of zoners up there.
So is anyone up for it??

I'll be taking my 335 cab back down on the 14th hopefully on a trailer as the mot's now run out and if it fcuks up were not stranded up there.
My mates sorting me out some wider tires and run them at a lower pressure to try and get off the line better as it was spinning up into 3rd before it was getting any grip.

Its got a mildly tweaked high 2.7 in it. Yes it is the car in the sig but the wheels were 'photoshopped' on before I put them on the car. and Ive got 2 matt front wings at the moment aswell

Sweet! Looks very hard. I won't be racing you then!
I'm racing my mate on saturday evening in his french trolley (clio 172). It has been remapped and is obviously lighter. I would expect to have him off the line (effectively rear 2 wheel drive LSD vs front 1 wheel drive), not sure if i'll be able to stay in front though
What sort of times are you expecting, have you run it in that spec before?
I ran a 15.3 in the white car last year which I was very pleased with. Hopefully i'll go quicker in the sport.

Not sure what time to expect- never done 1/4mile before.
Probably an embarrassingly low one. lol
15.3 is pretty damn good.

I haven't done many myself, only driven up the strip 4 times. My other 2 runs on that day were 15.7 and 15.9 so not too consistent! One it bogged down the other it span heavily through 1st. The 15.3 did feel like a gooden though, for a standard powerplanted 4 door bar the mongoose system, on hankook ventus' 195's too! Dropped to 10 PSI on the rear. Full throttle gear changes all the way of course, and that hugely satisfying 3rd gear wheelspin!
Hopefully you'll get nicely into the 14's in yours if you get a good run?

My best last night was a 15.6 @ 88
I had 3 runs and none were particularly great but its annoying that i'm not even close to my dads 4 door (which i ran the 15.3 in). I blame the pretty worn SP3000 (terrible) rear tyres and an exhaust manifold leak. I thought being a 2 door and having LSD i'd still be able to match it though
I had a look, didn't see you though today Oakey?
I did see this though;

A tidy looking 318is I think. Had an M power badge on the back. I'm sure i've seen this somewhere on here.
