That works out at about 23MPG, which is easily atainable with a 325 if you drive it should be driven.
You might have minor engine problems or a heavy right foot, but you're never going to get more than about 30 MPG out of it.
I get around 28MPG overall on local journeys, according to the OBC, but I run on LPG, which costs me between 6p and 8p per mile, depending where I buy it.
120 miles = Ԛ£7-20 to Ԛ£9-60.

ia an auto or a manual? i got an auto and its a shocker on fuel. perhapes someone can back me up here but what you got to remember is that a cabby weighs alot more than a normal e30 due to the increase of materials used to strengthen the car. more weight = more fuel :)

I get about 30mpg normal driving, 34mpg on a run at 75-80mph out of my 320i with 183k miles on it.

I have written a guide on sorting the motronic engine management out.

Last weekend I got just over 30mpg over a couple of hundred miles driving... that was 4 up, top down (325i cab), & although I wasn't driving exactly hard, I certainly wasn't trying for extreme economy!
