I was wondering how I would findout what sound systems were available from BMW for the E30 around 1990. Did they supply any CD player systems?

tbh they were crap no uk cars had cd changers,
i got my bmw head unit and 6 disc changer from america, it was
from a 1991 M3, it is a really good setup with excellent sound,
i have the premium speakers as well and also the door tweeters.
the one very slight problem is the tuner for the radio is slightly diff. setup but you can still use it, works pretty well on FM

this is the radio you need, it has all the features inc cd changer control.

and the matching changer is one very similar to this but model number
you need is TR-1000, make sure you get the long cable with it.

Wow, that's retro.
Almost makes the old Ford stereos from the early 90s look modern in comparison.

Thanks guys. I wonder does stuff like this come up on ebay from time to time, or would some of the BMW breakers have any?
Maybe I should look for something with a similar look and feel from the likes of Balupunkdt or Pioneer?
