Did you have any kind of restrictor in the oil supply?

Aah, that might be the cause of the problem :(

Have a quick search on the E30Tech, they make mention of the need for a restrictor quite alot.

Don't honestly know where you can get them, but they look like a little nut with thread poking out either side and an appropriate sized hole in the middle.

Got your email.

No restriction in my oil feed line, there was a mass-debate about it and some did, some didn't but on the whole you shouldn't need one, especially at tickover where oil pressure is low anyway.

Some people suffered oil blow through at higher revs/pressure and used the restrictor then.

If it's pissing out on just tickover something is wrong with the turbo/seals/shaft etc.

Know you have the H1C "how to guide" I sent you, you can rebuild the fecker yourself!

Looking good!

My IC sits exactly the same, I've sorted the right hand charge pipe, looks like it take the same route as yours.

Have you butchered the light brackets then?

yeah carefully cut them out with enough room to leave two screws holdin the light in, then filed them down abit more as they were fowling the charge pipes, but they fit nice and snug as a bug in a rug now...
did you get my email? only just finished work, i got some spare charge pipe if you need some..
