finally started on my 2.5 turbo project now engine complete

I do see things in the real world.... don't see Mountune building their engines on a concrete floor do you.
You are right, they might not "blow up" but all that fine swarf will play havoc in your engine. You will end up with blow by, an oil pump that isn't as effecient as it should be and cams that wear quicker than they should etc

and the swarf could stuck in oil feed and blow the turbo then you would have loads od metal in the engine
but each to there own i say.
from my relative short experience turboing BMW it is not as easy as everyone thinks.
Hass best of luck to with project as we have spoke but it is no mean beast to tame any short cuts will come round and bite you in the A*se very hard and it can get costly.
