thankyou all for your comments, with 60mm drop would it scrub the arches? considering i sometimes have to take my missus, the boy, shopping and pushchair? i could always make them walk, but just in case.

Dan i have just fitted suspension to mine which consisted of 40mm eibach springs(lowered mine 25mm cause i allready had mtec 15mm lower springs), Bilstien sprint shock absorbers and H&R antiroll bars. Its not the cheapest but i have to say it handles briliantly compared to the mtec set up and the best of all the ride has IMPROVED which was a surprise as i dont like a bone shaking too stiff ride. Its not the cheapest but is the best set up for road use and from the best manufacturers. Deff comes recomened. As i said in a previous post, if and when you do replace your shocks and springs it would be worth changing the front strut bodys to the larger 51mm ones fitted to 318is's 325's and cars with Mtec suspension or ABS from the factory because when ordering suspension for your car there will be several types and at the mo your car will prob have the smaller 45mm bodys so if you order shocks and springs for the 45mm body you wont be able to use them on the 51mm body. . You can pick the bodys up cheap secondhand and its no extra work to fit them because they all have to come appart when fitting new shocks. Another worthwile upgrade if you didn't wont to spash out on new ant roll bars is to source some s/hand 325i anti roll bars which will bolt straight on even if you dont have a rear one the mounting points are still there. Any questions pm me.

For £600, that car owes you nothing!!! Looks lovely, you'd still sell that at a profit. Grand work. Keep hold of it, keep it straight then put some muscle under the bonnet in a couple of years.

the great thing about e30`s is that there`s one for every budget and you can make them look great with hard work and suprisingly little cash. youve got yours looking good and seem to have your head screwed on with regards to the direction youre going.

keep up the good work :thumb:
