digital dechroming for nerds!!

thinkin about a respray and removing the rubbing strips ala the M3, what do you reckon? worth the effort or no? has any one done it? and lookin for opinions on the full black thing, not sure if you can have a car thats too black or not? ah yeah removed unneccessary things like door handles , fuel flap, and indicators for good measure may leave those on in real life!!

and while on the subject how bout a digital mods section for all busy office employees to submit to??

De-chrome suits your car alot.

as for the door handles-just weld the doors shut and get in the cab "dukes of Hazzard" stylee

I hadn't noticed the lack of side repeaters, some markets don't have them fitted. I don't know which ones though ...

Yeah man welding the doors way foreward!!! now gonna work on my mullet and change name to Bo!

If i do it i will leave the side repeaters out, or maybe in the front wheel arch, could look good at night when your wheels are flashing!!

Really want to remove the rubbing strip, it took me a long time to realise why that silver M3 in may PBMW looked so good, then noticed they dont have rubbing strips at all, it makes a big difference much smoother and i personally dont like the M-tech side strip.

Hey just noticed Nav's left picture of his car has no handles, indicators etc!! another busy office monkey??
