Scottish Track Day *crail* 2008
Moderator: martauto
Who would be interested in a track day at crail sometime in spring next year ??
I have contacted crail and there response was as follows;
"Any Saturday and minimum of 35 participants at £40.00 driver.1/2 up front to book date the rest on the day before signing on.
A track day .A large 1.4 mile circuit open pit lane and use of the sprint/drift track(1 car at a time on this set up). 4 hours of track time. Track hire depends on what we do the next day as one day is a 1/4 mile and another is a boot sale so depending on the date you choose we have to set up for an event the next day and both Sunday events take different times to set up for. Track layout is a large figure of 8 that does not cross over in the middle of course.
Regards

I might be interested in coming, although im a bit afraid of the red mist coming down and sticking it into a hedge.
The red mist was reponsible for me putting my fourtrak on its roof after rolling it three times at the start of the year.

...and glad to see someone else arranging something, if we get a few folk up for arranging events it shares the load and we may even get a proper event calendar together for next year!
I'll start another post for E30zone Scottish Events 2008 - keep your eyes open for it!

however; if your not happy with st johns ambulance crew then id suggest perhaps you find something better ??
im almost 100% certain that no other body(excuse the pun) will attend for free.
