Owing to a poor choice in rims,is it possible to fit M3 hubs to a 88 325i? I'm hoping this will give me a wider choice of rims as i'm sick of my 17" alpinas,or am i just thinking bo**ocks!?

You could fit the whole M3 suspension to give 5 stud hubs, but other than that, only the rear hubs will fit the 325 trailing arms with the stub axles on the front requiring modification to accept M3 hubs.

Hi Alex,
Do you know how it is with non ABS '87 318 arms? The arm, bearing and flange are different than in 325 but it is quite possible that's only because of ABS.

Hey Jan, how's it going mate? Not seen you on here for ages!

I honestly haven't got a clue Jan, perhaps check if the part No's for the arms are the same or something.

Are the encoders on the hubs at the rear or the ends of the drive shafts?

Quite good, week ago I bought the engine for my conversion. With droped valve so a lot work to do but so unique one that I thing it was worth. I can only say that it is Alpina engine.

I was checking the ETK and the parts numbers are different. Because first I want to prepare the suspension, brakes, wheels, etc and later the transmision with the engine swap, I want to leave 318 halfshafts and change only suspension. But I dont know is the diameter of the end of outer cv joint with small teeth (I can't remember the right word) is the same. The diff is 168 and car have no ABS.
