Are you sure about that? That valance dosn't look anything like a face-lift valance. Just look at the fog light area, dosn't even look anything like the face lift fog area.

That is certainly not a facelift valance.

The drawings used on the ETK are not necessarily representative of the part, and are just used as indications.

This is very very odd.
I was under the impresion that european lips are shorter than the US ones. So I went ahead and picked up the "shorter" european one for my european valance.
Both my US and european lips look to be the same length on both sides.
Hmmm
I have a delema here!

The early facelift panels with the extra holes cut in the centre are quite flimsy.
It looks like it maye of flattened out in the centre slightly. If it was mine I would bolt it on to the car (hopefully bringing it back to shape)and then try fitting the lower section.
When I took mine off for painting it lived in the shed for a couple of months and it took a bit of fettling to get the lower section to fit properly.
Is it an origional BMW panel? Your problem may be that its a crap copy.

I'm pretty positive the valance is out of shape a little. However, I cant just put the lip on and straighten it out. The reason why is the holes don't match up at all! With the center hole on both the valance and lip lined up, none of the others line up
Anyone want to sell me a early valance without the middle cutouts??

There are atleast 3 different types of pre face lift valance's. The one you have schneider is from an early sport, Which is designed to have a lower front spoiler and not a lip. You need one like in whipsey's pic's unfortunatly dude.
Or a tech1 bumper and skirt..

Does anyone have any picutures of my valance with the matched lower spoiler? I might as well see what that looks like before I go off and get another valance.
again thank you
