E30 Buyer's guide

Hi all, 1st post on here..

I've always wanted an e30 and have finally got the money time etc to get going and wondered if there was a buyer's guide on this forum.. I've bought a few 2nd hand cars in my time but wondered if there were any pointers anyone could give me, cheers.

Most of the E30's common faults and problem areas will be covered in the above. I've never owned an E30 convertible but I'm sure someone will be along soon.
