Im using ETA block, m20b20 head
what cam? i have a standard 325i cam sitting would this work ?
what is the difference in duration ?

Any 325i cam will work, I used a dbilas 272/272 because to car was an auto and I wanted a good idle.
My vote would be to go for a 284/272 then get a custom chip. I don't think any off the shelf chip is going to get the best out of a custom engine.

i was going to get ant's 2.7 chip and use that while i build my megasquirt.

I had one of ant's chips, it 'll do the job for now and be as good as any other chip you can buy.

Cat 1300525 ( 273/273 ) cam and A-tech 2.7 chip would work great on that hybrid 
not that I'm biased at all, just the schrick cams are overpriced IMHO and dont offer any gain over the Cat products, indeed both are manufactured from chilled cast billet , and properly hardened as part of the manufacturing process.
