A BBTB will have an increase out of the box. To get the best from it would be decent filter, maybe a cam and then a remap.

exhuast system halps a bit, a 6 branch manilof as well but thats costly. i can source you alpina replica stainless steel one, in a good polished finish for about £450.
a cam kit will let the engine breath better and make the most of the BBTB.
good performance airfilter will only work wth good ducting and a heat sheild
bmw tuning get expensive mate,
heres and example, i know of 2 e30 325i's which have had the following done
1 big bore TB normaly £100 +
2 six branch manifold £300 +
3 full performance exhuast system £200 +
4 induction kit fitted properly with cold air ducting and heat sheilds £100
( privces vary dependant on new or used and are product specific)
they were remapped and made an extra 20bhp
one belongs to dave d and the other was oguz327.
that lot cost about £750 give or take, with the re map it comes in at a £1000
but the gains are noticable

okay excellent!! but kos ive heard the stainlesss steel manis are not that great..?
where you based if i wanted work done etc... i was thinking to get a new manifold a straight through exhust system for my 325I cab... runnig powercross induction at the mo... but inlet elbows cracked.. any ideas for that too??
