Hey max ive not been on for ages, Ive just come on for a quick look at whats happening and seen this thread.
Nice car dude, Im pleased you have got one in the end.
Hope you get it looking just how you want and hope you enjoy it when you pass your test.
Be careful aswell with the winter months coming and rear wheel drive....Sorry for sounding patronising but i remember what i was like in my first car

Hi Jamie, i've been busy with my sisters wedding all week just saw this now. Nice to see you've finally got your first car, something to be proud of. Like alot of people have already said, you're very lucky to have an e30 to start with! Looks like a good shell but try not to throw too much money at it, I think you will go for something better like an iS after 1year. Just concentrate on the bare necesseties and have fun, owning an e30 is just one big learning curve. Good Luck.

Cool. Finally got it 8)

I like the colour. Nice and different too.
I didn't put any money into my first car either since it was only a 316  Just did enough to keep her running well etc.
Now I have my Second E30 (and third  ), The mods are underway winkeye

I think a few sublte exterior mods such as th iS lip, SE skirts and Shadowline which you have said already will do the trick, and a set of Smoked lights
Then some good Suspension and brakes and maybe a fast cam and she'll be sorted :D

Will do manual conversion soon. Got a donor on the way for a nice interior and manual conversion.

Then respray hopefully. Thinking of calypso on top and wine red on bottom 8)

Will be getting smoked lights etc...

Not going to do much about engine. That will get changed in time.

Brakes and suspension will get sorted.

cant believe you went for a white rear one, you will get problems drivign and e30 around at 17 but having a white rear plate is asking for trouble, but i do like them though.

Will put the skirts on when I do respray with iS lip. Smoke all the lights. Might get a light window tint too.

If I'm all insured a £30 fine every so ofter won't hurt I suppose...

I can't get a surround as the number plate is short... I will have a surround on the rear.
