My first car was my beloved old GT6. It was a 1972 Mk3 Rotoflex in black with a 4speed overdrive gearbox and a (apparently rare) 3.27:1 diff. It was actually reasonably reliable, but I got ideas about fitting a great big engine and now it's just a shell in a garageish thing and a collection of parts.

Here's what it looked like when it worked:

And some slightly more recent pics:

One of these days I'll get around to finishing the bloody thing off!

You may well laugh but, cheap insurance, RWD, easy to work on, had my first ton (100mph) in that car, also my first near death experience, long story but fully locked up sliding towards a stationary Land Rover at 70mph on Brighton sea front

Not too sure what it was...

I know my dad put it through a hedge before her 17th so had to respray it for about the 3rd time...

As far as I know it ended up 2 tone with bucket seats :)

Nothing wrong with the Chevettes, could make a proper drift slag with one!

Mk1 Fiesta XR2, sunburst red. Glorious car, until my brother rolled it into a field. Asides from Rentals and Works vans, your first car is the fastest car on the road :)

Second was a 2 door MK.II Ecort.
