My first car was my beloved old GT6. It was a 1972 Mk3 Rotoflex in black with a 4speed overdrive gearbox and a (apparently rare) 3.27:1 diff. It was actually reasonably reliable, but I got ideas about fitting a great big engine and now it's just a shell in a garageish thing and a collection of parts.

You may well laugh but, cheap insurance, RWD, easy to work on, had my first ton (100mph) in that car, also my first near death experience, long story but fully locked up sliding towards a stationary Land Rover at 70mph on Brighton sea frontJoshuaHocking wrote:cotty one word

mk1 fiesta 950. paid £50 for it in 1996. had 2 chickens living in it when i picked it up. turned it into a xr2 rep and put a 1.3 super sport engine in it. cut the springs put on a cherry bomb exhaust and drove it like i stole it every where. god those were the days

my first car a mk1 fiesta xr2,mk4 2 door 1.3 gt cortina very rare,ford capri mk3 1.6gl,triumph 2.5 pi mk2,pug309 1.1,opel monza gse lovey car,ople mantas 3 hatch,5 coupes still got one thats for keeps,vauxhal nova,vx220 turbo,now thats a car and a half fantastic car got stolen thou
now i drive an new type astra saloon,and im currently fitting( and keep bad comments to your self thanx ) a vauxhal red top turbo to my e30 318i, h, reg whitch had a knackerd engine,red top engine sat in my garage about 3 years so i thought why not, thats it so far.

First was a MK.II Escort, four door found in scrap yard and restored, minter. 1600 Mexico engine, lowered as they all were back then, mexico alloys, and full GL interior, thought it was the mutts nutts.
Second was a 2 door MK.II Ecort.
Manta, host of RS turbos, GTi's Golf and 205, Seirra, Mondeo, 4 e30's, XR2i, sticking with the E30's now, no room for anything else.
