Is this M-tech 2 kit for saloon or touring?

The only real differences in the Tech2 kit is the doors.
This kit is for a 2-door saloon, as all Tourings are 4-door.
If you have a 4-door saloon, the front and back pieces will fit, the sideskirts and door pods will be wrong.

Sound, well Ive purchased it for £229 posted. From germany, through ebay. Just have to hop it comes down safely.

Well done mate. Usually they go for around £330 on Ebay over here.
That price posted is a bargain in my opinion, especially if it's in good condition, which it looks as if it is.
Does it come with the front valence? You only have pics of the front bumper.

The dealers do a "Tech 2 fitting kit" for about £25ish I believe, which gives you all the clips etc to fit it.

Yeah it does come with the valance but posted the bumper pic twice by accident.


How many pieces should be in this kit?

When I asked him

He states 50 assembly parts.

And 15 actual body parts,

does this sound correct.

Bumper, valence, rear bumper with rear valence, 2 sills, 2 front wing pods, 2 door pods, 2 rear wing pods, 4 end pieces for the sills.

Clips? Loads of em, often broken, particularly the clips on the top of the front valence, hence why most seem to have a large gap under the middle of the bumper.

Not 100% sure but it is slightly different to my techII kit or maybe it is off an earlier/later model car. my side pods wrap around the arches in one piece.

Think it's an end cap for the sill, not an end for the side pod...

Thats what Im thinking ...
All the listings for the tech 2 kits on ebay are not believable ....
Think about it, they say that they are able to ship them complete kits to the US for 55.00USD.
I live in the states and I have shipped many bumpers and it cost me 50.00 alone to ship a bumper a few states down...
For what that one guy won the other tech 2 kit for is what it would cost shipping alone to the states.
it is like he is giving the kit to him for free.
I dont know though since your on the other side of the sea he might ship it to you but who knows ..
please post if you ever do recieve it ....

Yeah, Im getting a slight awkward feeling now, I don't really know what to do, what would you recommend?

He said he posted it today, and is going to give me a tracking number tommorow, but I don't know whether to believe him now, please give us some advice.

I am so unsure of what to do, I mean I could leave it and wait and see if it arrives, or file a complaint but errrrr i dont know. I just don't want to lose my money

well how long would it usually take to recieve a package from where it is being shipped from??
in the states I know it usually take between 5-7 days

Yeah it would probably be about the same, its just if he is a scammer he could send any old package and give a tracking number. And the longer i leave it the more likely he is to get the money out of paypal. I could goto paypal and file a complaint for not recieving an item but it aint been long enough really, it would be hard to explain to paypal what it goin on aswell. I need to speak to the other guy who bought a kit and see what thes doing really.

What's the sellers feedback like?? Basic ebaying - always check out the person you're buying from!!

May well be nothing to worry about.

Its sorted now, I filed a complaint to paypal saying he hasnt given me a tracking number after 5 days,

I also gave them loads of info about him, (i found that he had multiple accounts to give himself feedback etc)
I told him I would tell them

and he gave mea refund in full,

He can't have really sent the package otherwise he wouldnt give me a refund surely?.

O well. Im happy to get me cash back
