Hazard light switch has to be most likely suspect.

OK, had a look at the car myself at the weekend, the right hand indicators only stay on when the car is locked/unlocked with the (BMW) alarmԚ…and the alarm itself isnÔš't making the loud Ԛ“chirpyԚâ€a noise it used to when it was activated/deactivated
The other thing is the car hasnÔš't been used a great deal so im thinking maybe a flatish battery may be interfering with the alarm is some way, however the battery has enough ommph to start the car(as the battery has been taken off the car over winter)
Im thinking maybe the battery or the alarm suspect

Sounds like it might be a problem with the appropriate relay inside the alarm.
Incidentely, the OE BMW alarm fitted to E30s has a NiCad battery inside the sounder part of the alarm. What the effect of a dud battery is, I'm not sure, but suitable replacements are available from CPC as a battery for emergency lights.
