I did some driver training there in a Cupra R. My instructor had me taking it steady whenever I caught a car. There was some expensive machinery out there. On one lap he urged me to pass a Focus RS we had chased down on the looooooong bend. Something he wasn't keen on me doing on other laps. He kept yelling, keep your foot in, go on go on etc etc ...... When we passed he burst into laughter big time.
10 mins later we stopped for a bit and this guy came strolling over looking to talk to my instructor. He called the guy an idiot in a joking way and said good move, i'm suprised you had the balls to do it there, thinking he was driving....... My instructor explained to him that he wasn't driving and that I was. I didnt realise the relevance till the guy strode away. The Focus was out giving hot paid for pax laps and I past it in the Seat
A great day, 3 hours of great tuition probably 2 1/2 dolid hours of driving and we were by far the quickest thing on track.
Not relevant to the topic but it's my Mallory memory.
