Bring the Kids to Santa Pod!!!

I am offering my mummyness for The Ultimate BMW Show at Santa Pod September 23rd.

We're taking Nichola so i'll be trying to keep her occupied all day and i thought why not offer to look after other kids that are going?

I should be taking toys, paper, crayons, maybe a slide and other outside toys and maybe my huge tent (all depending on how much space we have!). I will also bring biscuits, fruit and juice.

I mentioned it to Iain (HartgeH27) and he thinks it's a Great idea!

So who's interested?.....

I'm offering to take the kids(under 5's, 10's at a push!) off peoples hands so they can go do adulty type things.

i have a 2 year old and a 4 year old but in all honesty i think i'll leave them with my parents or someone. it's a long drive for them and they'll get grumpy / miserable.

anyway, i wanna act like a kid all day!!!

So i've sent a message to Santa Pod to check they have no problems with me taking large outdoor toys with me to the show - i've had no reply yet.

I spoke to my local mummy and toddler group today to ask if i could borrow some of the toys for the show - they said should be okay but a deposit of £50 is needed!

I also have some designs for my banner too to show you guys where i'll be at! just need to get iain or one of the team members to have a look and tell me what they think.

how old are the kids? i used to be a beaver and cub scout leader(in training) so i have the ability to keep most kids occupied for hours!

i love drawing cartoon characters so i can get older kids into that, it's real easy.

The bigger two love cars, BMW's especially, but I'm sure there'll only be so much wandering around and stood chatting they'll put up with. And they do love drawing and colouring

Ive got 6 kids, (and another on the way) which means if i bring them i will have to come in my people carrier, so im a bit reluctant to bring them.

but i might bring 2 in my bm if the others dont whinge about it. ill let ya know on the day if ive got any if thats ok

do any of the kids on the list or ones that be in my care have any allergies?

i'm bringing with me,

big bottle juice
big bottle water
biscuits
cups
baby wipes
kitchin roll
toys - box of action man stuff, box of cars, baby toys
teddies
travel cot - with bedding
gameboy sp x 2 with games - fingers crossed

i do need to ask though if you child needs nappies, or specific drinking cups can you please bring along (i know there's only one that'll prob need them, but oh well).

In the process of getting some ear plugs or spare ear defenders so i can take the kids to watch the jet car,...........

Nicky has some now but last year we just put our hands over her ears and she was fine at her hearing check in November.
She was 16 months last santa pod.

^^ that'd be great! can't seem to find any of them at the minute! and ian can't swipe any from work anymore since he got moved to the other end of the building!!
