I have been offered an Alpina spec reground cam by a mate. Any one know what spec the alpina cam's were I assume he means C2 spec? And also anyone ever used a reground cam before?
Cheers

What's the normal BM cam then 256/9 or somthing I seem to remember?
So this one will releas some more ponies but won't really effect the idle etc right, I'm not horsepower mad I'd rather keep a good idle just seems sily to put and i cam in a 2.7

I thought the std cam was 256, but could be wrong.

That alpina one will give a smoothish idle, not lumpy as such and a good kick in the midrange, not a bad compromise really. And if it was good enough for Alpina then it's gotta be good!!

Just what I want, it's a 2.7 after all, don't want any of this power coming in a 5000 rpm bollocks.
Cheers Guys
I'll go and find out what he wants for it.

I'm gonna stick it in the budget 2.7 I'm building so the head off doesn't bother me. Ԛ£375 for a shrick is not really in buget! It will be a bargin if I can get it, it's brand new.
