Thought id start a post as im sure i will be asking for help at some (many)point/s,despite reading the numerous threads on here regaurding this conversion!!

This is the car its going in

Picked the engine up yesterday,i got a few questions regaurding that,but need to check the engine first.Anyway as i said i started this post so i got somewhere i can go back to/come to for all the problems im sure i'll come across.If i get all the numbers off engine,is it possible to identify what it came out of??Will post more details tomorrow!

that car looks very similar to theo325's new 335i chariot!

are you coming along to santa pod on the 23rd? there will be 4 335i's that i know of going, maybe more. we're all vain and happy to show you round what's been done to the cars etc so we feel big! :D

think the engine number's near the starter motor from memory, that would be all you'd need i expect?

is it the later E32/E34 engine with just BMW on the cam cover, or the earlier E28/E23 one with the round BMW logo? later one is preferable :D
