Ok you know when one of your mates does something to thier car and no-one knows if they like it or not? Here is the mate in qustion, and he is a zoner wazpick. Im undecided I like the black and red contrast, but dont know if I like this, So anyones views? Got to admit it does look good in the metal.

Not too sure myself.

If the whole of the bonnet was black, then I think I would like it - would match the black centres of the wheels.

Follow the VW boys and paint the roof black... lol

To be honest, and everyone has their own point of view, I really don't like it at all! Keep it all red. I think that black bonnet stuff suits American muscle cars and some Japanese motors, but not BMWs

I think it would look better on a white car. Still don't mind it too much though.

I will pass on your comments and see if I can get some better pictures, I think I have come round to the fact I like it, but wouldn't do it myself, your right the red and black scheme if what he is going for, and I think he is pulling it off.

I'm sure he will thank you for your comments.

My mate has a red touring with a black bonnet. Looks ok.

But imo if you like matt black, just spray the whole car, dont be a pansy and just do the bonnet, it looks like you wish you had a carbon bonnet, but dont.

wazpick do the whole bonnet mate  black and red work well together IMHO.

After my engine conversion I ended up with a black bonnet (a spare I had lying around  ) as some damage had been done to my red bonnet... I hated it at first but it's kind of grown on me :D

Image

It looks better in the flesh, the red bonnet is being sorted and will be going back on.... maybe.
