Good move! I recall a mickey-take advert in Street Machine showing an A30/A35 parked up outside a cinema with a couple of dudes sitting on the bonnet " A streetcar named desire" was the slogan.

Well done Max. I was 3 months short of 21 when I got my first BMW - a burgundy metallic E21 320, colour was called Rubinrot.
Mini Clubman for my first car, followed by an Allegro 1300, and a round-nose Mini.
Now on my 6th BMW.
Currently slumming it in an E46 Touring

Yeah cool, only used to take an hour and a half to polish each wheel by hand.

Glad you found one in the end.
Im sure you will have a lot of fun modding it and learning with it, I loved my E30 as a first car. Its a great feeling when you get that first drive.

Congrats Max. Lovely looking car. My first was a Vauxhall Nova 1.2 Merit. O yeah! lol. The height of councilness. But I loved it. Still miss it now.
PS i learned neally everything i know about polishing from that car just to save it going pink.

The grill will get sprayed balck. Never knew how easy it was to take off!
Insurance isn't too bad for a 1.8. Well from the quotes...
Mods will arrive shortly

1an it will be a bit different to yours. Although it will have an iS lip and 15" BBS.
delboy - I won't be going splitties on this as I plan on a bit of a track car. Watching only fools and horses as it happens

If it was my choice it wouldn't be an auto.
But for a solid shell like this with a decent suspension and new tyres I'm not complaining. I will have a donor car for interior and manual conversion soon.

I won't be spending a lot on this. Just a a bit of track fun. I will spend a lot of money on an E30 one day... Most likely an M3...
TBH, would rather spend the money on a business or bricks and mortar.
