Hi Guys I am embarking on a turbo project so I thought Id start by posting a few pics of my 323i before I began the changes. :D

Since these pics were taken I changed the wheels and tyres and I invested a few £Â£Ã‚£Ã‚£,s and some elbow grease and painted the kidneys black.

The alloys I went for were the 17inch BMW Motorsport Reps ( ones on the E36 M3 ). I was thinking of the alpinas however after viewing a few of the "meets" pics I noticed that there was no shortage of them. I would at some stage like to go for a set of Borbet B,s as well.

I must say thanks to Spadge (for parts), Ant and Blingsta (most valuable advice and all round help).

Will post the new pics soon as well as the pics of the conversion parts.

Cheers

Yeah I just havent had the time to take out the pics of the turbo gear I already have.
Also need to post the pics of the car with the 17's on.
Going to pick up the 325i head and maybe the block too tonight.
winkeye

Getting much closer as I would then only need the manifold and the megasquirt to start the conversion as well as the other minor bits and TIME.

Thank You

Would the 60/40 drop be OK bearing in mind that I dont like the tyres being hidden by the arches :?:

I wouldnt go for a 60/40 drop I would go 80mm alround the arches are higher on the back on the early cars.
Look here to see what it would look like with 80mm drop >> http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name ... highlight=

Right, had enough of timewasters so hopefully this weekend the head comes off and the re-seating begins. :x Decided to go the 323 turbo way as I have most parts and can start the conversion sooner rather than later. :D
Hope all goes well. :!:

Head is on including the ARP studs and decomp plate.
Intake is on.
Intercooler is in place just needs to be fitted firmly and piped.
Manifold is on.

Fair bit of work to go before we get the car up and running.

Cheers :D
