hi, doing some research on turbos at the min,
just about got the m30 conversion done waiting on prop,
next month im going to start the turbo conv,
want to know what turbos your using on ur m30's?
the cars set up for drifting so dont want much lag (smaller turbo?)
what turbo?, where in the rev range is she boosting? cheers

Tony Unna has a 335i turbo, he's using a T4 sized blower and it works real well.

I'm sure he'll advise the results :cool:

Try a search for his 335i turbo thread, it's got all teh info including how he made the manifold and all the other mods he has done. ( Which include the e28 M5 throttle boddies he has fitted )

I'd recomend a HX35 or HX40 Holset turbo, cheap, big and more than enough for the job.

A-Tech can supply the Holsets too :D

For stock M30 go Garrett GT40 or Holset HX40 :twisted:

go to a turbo builder, eg turbo technics, turbo developmetns and tell them the application and they'll have an idea depending on what power you want
