Im fed up today, the missus went out in my d plate 320 on saturday and locked the car as normal,ie all the way over to deadlock it,when she came back to it only the drivers door will unlock and the passenger door and petrol fill are deadlocked now  does anyone have any ideas what the fault could be,im going to attack it tomorrow so if anyone has any clues where i should look it would be most helpful?

Have you checked out the tech article on this site which details a few possible faults in the central locking system? See here:

MIne did this mate, and i got a new(ish) central locking control unit to go in the kick panel. I was locked out of the car but luckily had left the window oopen so got the drivers door open and the passenger/boot/filler were dead locked. I think you'll find a new unit will fix it, try IM'ing 320touring he had a few when I got mine, good price too.

Thanks for the info, now i think of it i can hear a clicking sound from the drivers footwell area when i try to unlock it,could be a relay or similar? doesnt sound very happy tho!

Just read the tech guide,i think ill try the resoldering guide 1st,as im decidedly skint as usual as im a workshy layabout!
