danceing fuel neddle

i have an 1990 320i touring. and my fuel neddle is danceing left right full empty wish it would make it mind up . then it stoped working and the fuel light stayed on. so i got a new fuel level indercator and put it in the tank and the fuel light go,s off now and comes on when its empty. but the neddle is still danceing around can any one help!

tighten the 7mm nut on the back of the instrument cluster at the back of the fuel guage.

also if that doesn't fix it, check the second fuel sender on the left hand side of the tank.
