Beemerlad, have you not bought a 6 branch manifold yet?

It would work well with what youve already done.

M5 - looks like I am going to have to source one.

I was lucky and all mods were already done to car when i got it 6 or so weeks ago. Just sorting out a few essential grumbles first and will then be going in search of more BHP.

Motor feels quite torquey low down, can almost pull away in 3rd! then it seems to be a bit flat until it comes on cam at around 4500-5000rpm.

The torque of the 325 kept with it, and also the fact i was canning the nuts off the beemer. I enjoyed that drive, it brings back memories!!!
I love that road. too many f00king trucks for my liking though.. been many dodgy overtake done :) we're going again this year and now I've got the beemer. :)

Civic Type R will be easily faster than a 325 in a straight line down the drag strip. 190BHP vs 170BHP. Weights must be similar, so the CTR has a power to weight advantage. RWD does give a few fractions of a second advantage back to the 325 but that's it.

However, I'd still rather own a 325 than a CTR.

Been in S2000 and Civic type R round Snetterton with Phil Bennett driving both very quick and both slide easily (handbrake at 80) and drift well. S2000 is brilliant sideways!!  8O 8O
