Just looked at a 318i auto 1990 got a scrape on one of the arches ,couple of little rust paches drives nice bit of noise on power steering pump,15" alloys,seats are worn,with 124000 on it in dark red with an MOT no rot to be found anywhere .

All depends on how much MOT and Tax it has IMO.

2months MOT and No tax about £150 (if the BBS are in good condition with nice tyres)

Longer MOT and Lots of Tax upto £500 - but I wouldn't pay that.

it has a long MOT but no tax they have it up at £600 the alloys are in vgc with good tyres

she sounds really sweet ,i offered him £300 and he has excepted it ,I have bought it for my son ,all I need now is all the bits to make it how he wants it.

£300 is a bargain.. Long as the top end is still cam shaped.. Nice one Max :D

that seem like a good buy, most 318's have been looked after and it give J a blank canvas to hake the car his own.

sounds like a good project, if its a maroon red possibly calypso red? IIRC one of maxfield's favourite colours :)

thought the car would be good like this and he can build it to how he wants hope he likes the colour think will look sweet with right wheels and m tec kit

Defiantly.

Manual conversion and interior will come first. Then onto body few subtle tweeks. Then suspension, brakes and a Z3 rack. Will be sticking short shifter in with new gearbox. Maybe clutch too.

That's if I do clutch but if it's ok then won't bother. Only an M40 that will get changed next year anyway...

flywheel needs swapping anyways, and clutch needs to come off to fit it.. So might as well, can use it on the m42 also i believe
