for "perfect combustion" when lambda is one, then air/fuel ratio is 14.7:1

dont know who decided on this,.... but thats wot was drummed into us at uni!

Its a general blend. lambda should be 1 on all cars ... but for the MOT it is allowed to be between 0.97 and 1.03 (if lamba is low, then mixture is too rich, if its high, mixture is too lean)

If your mix is far off 14.7:1 then it would fail its MOT.. though if your mixture is only a bit rich you can get away with dropping the oil to minimum and removeing the air filter.. :D then putting it back when u got ur pass certificate

dunno wot u could to to enrich the mixture though.

is she a student? 8O :D

I would put up pics but it would involve 'aquiring' me dads digicam....

not the best plan as trying to deny the existance of the car

however, did catch him of fleabay and autorippoff looking at e34 525 manuals, so seems we made the right choice! will try and get pics at somepoint!

pics of the touring?!no way :D

does look a lot better tbh, just got a couple of scabs left to sort, then its time for the wheels and trim to be done......
