2 mins from macdonalds drivethru in blackpool.It will be quick but it a bit hesitant at the moment.not revving freely all the time.slows down at 4500 rpm,and idles funny the odd time,ill get her right eventually though.lol

when she goes she really goes though,lancer evo 3 went the other day before me ,bout 3 secs after i went and started to catch him,couldnt believe it,cant wait until its 100% and chipped 8)

Standard E30 pump. All M50s/M52s and S50s use the same spec pump except for S50b32.

Cool...what would ye think if the car is driving perfect but on hard acceleration it doesnt rev freely after 4500rpm,not missing just revs slower ,ie like m50 b20 or something,well not that bad but that idea,ie smooth and doesnt stop revving just doesnt rev as fast.camshaft position sensor? afm? sometimes it revs proper and goes pretty faster in comparison.Ideas?

@ste touring looks P.I.M.P.I.N
@jhonno,m50 puts a smile on my face,id say s50 would put shit in my pants :clin:

Have you checked that the Vanos piston can move freely? Sounds suspiciously like a sticking Vanos to me. BMW even changed the design to a more chamfered leading edge as the original design vanos piston can jam.
