anyone know any good products to remove bugs with. what about a bit of petrol and then washing it off immediatley?
help much appreciated.

A bit OTT, if the surface is well waxed they shouldn't be too hard to remove anyway.
If they are dried on, first step would be to get a cloth, soak it in warm water then lie it over the bug splattered area and leave it for 10 minutes. This will help to soften the bits and allow you to gently wash them off without having to resort to a strong solvent.

Poorboys bug and squash remover is good too.
I never need anything on my car as it has a good wax barrier, but my company car and Dad's car quite often have baked on bug guts and the b&s does the trick.

i my car is well polished using zaino z5 and zfx and z8 the whole lot basicaly but these bugs are fixed on like you wouldnt belive! i think i will get some bug remover

Remember to retreat the areas you use it on as a lot of products will strip anything they come into contact with.
