Hi. i have a e30 320ise motorsport. it has motorsport suspension. can i just put new springs on these shocks or do i have to change the whole lot?

either - it's up to you. if you like the ride of the shocks and they're not worn out then i'd suggest changing them to be unnecessary expense.

i saw a doctor and she gave me some pills....

I think somebody may have told you porkies with the 'motorsport' edition part mate but if you have the M-tech suspension fitted this is 15mm lower than the stock ride height.kevg320ise wrote:Hi. i have a e30 320ise motorsport. it has motorsport suspension. can i just put new springs on these shocks or do i have to change the whole lot?
On standard shocks the most i would go would be 30-40mm max if you take a 60mm drop on stock shocks they won't last very long and you run the risk of springs popping out.
If it's improved handling you're after then I'd definitely go for shocks and springs all round.

so i should just get springs that lower the car by another 25mm. that would make 40mm
