seats can be changed  and the words 'cheap', 'serviced' and 'not been ragged' sound quite appealing

Brown rocks. I dig the old school style you're going for. Chrom works but ONLY if the car is absolutely immaculate.

Looks like the main car from a German version of 'Minder.'

Old school styled cars rock IMHO. Not 100% set on the chrome, black might work better, but the bumpers have to be the small chrome/steel type

p.s. imagine a dark chocolate with a slight hint of gold flake...

Brown looks sweet on an old-skool look. Not that particular shade though - my photoshop skills are a little lacking.

I have gone and done a silly thing. I've been browsing the engine swaps/forced induction forums
Now I think FI is a bit beyond my budget - for the moment - but... I would love an old skool look car with a carbed/TB'd engine, I think the high revs would suit my driving.... Would you need a 4 cylinder for this or is it just as feasible on a 6 pot?

hi mate, its gonna depend on your driving style, with a 4 pot your always gonna be in high revs, but with a 6 pot you can choose, they will rev up nicely but you can be lazy with them to.
IMO it has to the 6, best of both worlds.

Need storage space in the summer. They do look fantastic....

Hard tops are for pussies.
