As summer draws to a close, the evenings draw in and we buckle down for the long cold autumn, it seems only apt that this months car of the month should be that pillar of summertime use, the touring.
After a busy summer of hauling tents, caravans and trailers full of the remains of a garden makeover its time to dust off those tailgates, clean out the dog hair and show your wagon some appreciation.
There's nothing nicer after a long days work than a good shower, a back rub and a cup of tea. So treat the transporter to the same. A dose of wax, some fresh fluids and the gentle caress of a microfibre mitt can do wonders for a tired old workhorse.
Its a well known fact that there is no superior e30 than the touring, none more practical, none so perfectly styled and balanced and none that can evoke such feelings of envy from lowly saloon owners as they try to squeeze that last suitcase into their meager boot. Well at least thats what I keep being told by the owners of these bizarre homologations of a practical family carrier and the sports car the e30 comes so close to being.
So line up family men, tradesmen and those who wanted something different (until they realised every man and his dog has one) and be counted. Take the stage with pride and dignity and show us your boot space.

For some reason the good pics of mine aren't working and they're hosted on mates photobucket so you'll all have to wait for THE WINNING CAR to be posted up.

Well I may as well put my turd up again, after it's defeat in the M40 section...
Agreed though, bigpimpin is this month's winner - unless Dips gets it with the supercharged Malachite job...

Be kind to it...
Cheers
