Well the fact it is basically a mundane saloon car in a superhero cape, With impressive doors and imo a very stylish shell.BD76 wrote:wat is so cool about it d
Can't see anything to not like about it really. (Well apart from the lack of power)

I assume this Bruce guys has one? I meant it as a compliment.bimmaman wrote:Don't let Bruce hear you say that!!frogger wrote:What does everyone think of this, considering it's actually an E30 with a Z-axle?
They are really nice cars. Did Alplina or Hartge etc ever mess with one?
Wasn't there a dealer 2.7 bore option?d6dph wrote:Well the fact it is basically a mundane saloon car in a superhero cape, With impressive doors and imo a very stylish shell.BD76 wrote:wat is so cool about it d

Yeh. I'd only go for an M3 cab over a Z1.
I never liked MSport cabs, not their fualt but they've been tarred with council brush of a thousand clones.
Now whenever I look at one, I just think council.
The Z1, well, it's got anti-council built in.

wats the price on these nowadays ?
They're ultra rare here in Ireland. I've seen only 2 on Irish plates, although i've heard there's a third one around somewhere. Saw a few at gaydon as well.
There was a Z1 owners tour from Belgium or Holland here a few years ago in the South of the country, unusual to see so many together in the same place.
Back in 1991 I called to BMW HQ here in Ireland to get a pic of one, the MD had one, and they were kind enough to take me for a spin in it.. The doors will always be the talking point..
