Any Help ?

I've just gone and locked my car keys in the boot !, i'd locked the car already on central locking ( deadlocked !!!!) with the key on drivers door and picked something up from the boot and then shut the boot... any ideas on opening it?

BTW - I did a search already and understandably they have been removed, I know you can smack the lock with a hammer and a socket extension, if anybody can PM with a less damaging solution i would be greatful.

using the socket will damage the rear panel,

use a big screw driver, and use it to unlock the boot. a set of strong grips recomended. the only thing you will damage then is the lock

Does this open the boot by breaking the plastic clip on the actuator arm?

Should be able to control the centrol locking from the fuse box - not exactly sure how.

I would smash a light if all else fails - easy / cheap to replace

how about removing the rear screen and then the rear seats to get in through the ski patch?

might be time consuming but better than damaging something?

Get a lift up to your local dealer with the V5 your driving license and a couple of utility bills. They will cut you a new key from the registration number.

It shouldnt. They pop easily, bit of a design fault.
