Sorry, another central locking question!
The doors lock and unlock fine with key or remote fob, but after a while it unlocks itself. The alarm stays on though.
The pin for the red and black wire in the door connector looks a bit iffy, but i assume from other threads that this is a live feed and the lock wouldn't work on the door if there was a problem.
Hope someone can help.

If it's unlocking when the car is parked then it's probably not a loose connection triggering the locks.
If it's when you are moving then it could be that.

I always check the Central Locking relay myself with any lock issues as they are very unstable.

I think all remote locking / alarm controllers are wired into here at some point so it worst case it will be the control unit for the alarm / remote unit.

It could be that dodgy live feed is causing the problems.. Get the wire bypassed and that might fix it?

There is a sensor in the relay itself that causes the doors to unlock in the event of a collision. Is the relay secured with the screws? If its banging about that could also cause it?

It unlocks when parked, which is strange. It also does it when loked with the key, bypassing the alarm.

I'm pretty sure ot's a dud control unit. They usually install them idnisde the black plastic panel in the roof of the glovebox.

Take it out, wriggle it, check connections, tap it.

See what happens.
