sorry the photos are not very good quality as they were taken on a mobile, i only discovered that the battery was flat on my camera 10 minutes before we left
we could only get in the area where all the exotic cars were as we didnt have a pass, we got in around 7pm after most people went home and security was slack, a lot of the old itailian cars were covered over so no pics, we did get to see some american mechanics changing a cobra engine as you can see from the pics, the bmw mechanics were very friendly when they found out that i was very interested in the cars they had, as were most mechanic teams they all had time for a chat, which was cool
saw some ace racing action with 2 big block galaxies going 2nd and 3rd trying to catch a plymouth with stirling moss in a mark 1 cortina trying to keep up, no chance of course, how those big fords didnt go sideways around the corners i dont know
i would say 65 per cent of the people at this event wore period costume, with the ladies giving me enough wanking materail to last a year

no daimler darts gordon, but in the members enclosure i could see what i thought was some kind of daimler but this thing had huge rear fin like rear wings, and was getting a lot of interest,
any ideas, as wasnt allowed in to take a photo, snobs

only one day mate, i get free tickets every year from my mate who shows his 1942 harley, and i will be going to santa pod in a very shiny and new looking car, hopefully

spook great pics. I really should make it one year. One of the ladies at work went in her morgan and she lent me the video from last year, you just reminded me to watch it. I used to run Mk1 Cortinas.

I would really like to do the whole dressing up bit in period RAF or Army clothes. My GF would really like to go in period nurse clothes as she works in a hospital

Spook excellent pictures, I went up on Sunday it was an excellent day. I went up with my friend in his Maserati Ghibli which was parked up in the pre 66 car park. I havent got many pictures although i do have one of JK's Merc 300SL if anyone is interested?

We went excellent day trouble was 5 hour drive home afterwards, on the plus side it was all free hospitality champers beer food etc etc. will definately go again even if we have to pay Matt and matts dad.
ps really impressed with the period dress and atmosphere, awsome machinery cars bikes and planes
