decided to take her out into the sunshine and wash off the dust shes gathered over the last couple of months today and thought id take a couple more pics to show you guys









bonnet release cable has siezed, have to order one monday and its off to the scrappie tomorrow morning to start sourcing the rest of the parts for the 3.5 conversion

sourced a manual gearbox and prop shaft from an e28 today, have to take it out next saturday as theres a car parked on top of it at the moment, then i just have to get the engine mounts and i can start stripping everything down for the 3.5 to go in

Hi Fuzzy hows tricks, have moved into a new flat after picking my son up in Germany and bringing him back to live with me, dont have any tv, phone or internet at the moment as the complex isnt finished . Time and spare cash for the project are in short supply at the moment but im getting the parts together slowly, any time you fancy coming over just pm me and ill get back to you as soon as i can.

X3MCP alright mate, the colour isnt as fancy as a candy and nowhere near as expensive, its xyrralic red ( mazda rx8 ) it fair glimmers in the sun

i have a full very large paint tin with that colour red if anybody wants?

never been used and is metalic also and hasnt even been thinned down yet so theres prob enough to spray two cars

i bought it from a friend who sprays cars for a living

Hi guys.
The colour doesnt have any flakes in it but really pops in sunshine, its mazda velocity red and cost me close to £800 just for the paint ( with undercoat thinners etc )

Wheels are shaper champ, now discontinued, 8 and 9x16

The 3.5 is in bits all over my garage in various stages of anti rust paint and polish
pick up my gearbox radiator and propshaft hopefully this coming weekend so more to paint and polish, then all i need are the mounts and some time

Thanks for the comments guys, dont think shell be at any shows for a while though asi noticed a few uneven bits that i didnt see before paint so they will have to be flattened out at some point and resprayed but the engine is progressing slowly, if only i had more time !!!!!!!
