Hey Guys..

Been a long time since ive done a write up. Anyway, im still spending money on my crap car! and latest products have been the samco hoses from Zaust and Cabrio.. They look awesome!! :D I have also recently gone wasted spark with a vectra coil pack and blue leads from magnecor which cost a bit! . Anyway, car is still going well and performance is still putting a smile on my face even though my actuator is crap and is only good for 6.5psi.. ... Well no more of that.. have just bought another actuator and a visit to Ants to get it fitted and re-mapped at 8psi is on the books.. winkeye
Just thought i would post a couple of pics of under the hood for any constructive critiscm.. :D

Can anyone assist wih their e-mail addy and i will send you pics to post on here pls..

an actuator can be set to any psi quite simply, and the springs are cheap

i cant understan why it keeps posing you a problem :?

The actuator was put on by Essex turbo's at the time of my turbo rebuil Kos... because they were a bit funny with giving me a garauntee as it wasnt going on a turbo car i told them i was running low boost, hence they put this actuator on it...!! they said i can void the garauntee if i change it over etc etc.. Sod them..

a turbo's a turbo, no matter what the aplication.

if it has been abused, and over boosted then when its looked at they can identify whats caused it. i've never had any issued from my turbo guy, and having said that never had a problem with my turbos.

he builds a "hybrid" for a given application and guarantees. the only ones which dont get a guarantee are the roller bearing turbos, but i've never know one to fail from abuse, just oil starvation. these are the most expensive ones, go figure ?? having said that , they are for "race use" only and its the core that cost silly money.

Kos, i see what your saying mate which is true, but after an hours drive to get up there and them to say that they might not offer a garauntee as its a N/A engine i tried to wriggle out by saying im gonna run very low boost.. but hey, problem sorted now !! :D

Hey Erel

Nice Job

I was at Ants when the samcos were on and I think the coil pack was installed.

Car looks wicked as well as the in car kids entertainment, a must to keep them busy ( I see the benefits of them).

PS: Im looking for an actuator for my T3/T4. Any ideas? :?

Congrats on the nice looking ride mate :D

As for the trouble.. only trouble i had was blowing my 2.7 as it was a high comp and then when i replaced it with the standard lump, the turbo packed up !! all good since the turbo rebuild though!! :D .. will be 8psi from Monday, then maybe a turbo cam and welded head before the Pod !
