bmw 530i sport

My dad is looking at getting one of these, we went and had a look at one and test drove it and it was awsome, the only difference is it has a set of 18' deep dish alloys which really complement the car, i have a pic of it so someone can identify it for me i.e what is the code like e30, e36??? any help would be awsome, on another note we went and looked at a e36 m3 evo in blue with loads of added extra's and only for 6995 with 65,000 miles but my mum said NO!!!! why o why mum it was awsome, anyway thanks again

nice shoes i imagine they would look lovely on a e39.

I have a 528i sport myself and its a cracking car.the only downer is it feels like it should have a bit more go so your 530 should be a damn good motor

watch out for little electrical niggles though,usually sensors go daft but are easily sorted

cool thanks for your help, when we went for test drive it seemed a very quick car its a rare colour as well as i havent seen many about, my dad wants to do things like induction kit and exhaust and know someone who could chip it so it should be even more punchy, only thing i dont like about it is its an auto but he prefers them as he has a heavy foot and takes out clutchs like no ones buisness, all in all though a nice car, should be good fun.

Good induction kits that actually work on the E39 are expensive.

Remapping does wake the engine up and makes it alot nicer to drive.

There are a few other trick bits you can add on for better acceleration and driveability.

Overall the 530i Sport is a brilliant car and the suspension is just excellent and should not be touched in my opinion.
