i dont know about turboing a m20 2.0 but i do know a 3.91 lsd will aid quicker acceleration but at the expense of top end. i use a 3.91 lsd and 1st gear is over almost as soon as youve selected it in my application but the car runs out of steam around 135 ish. faster acceleration is more usable day to day than high top end anyway and every little helps. the higher the number the faster the acceleration. 3.64 will be slower but higher top end etc

i have a 4:1 open dif on my 335i right now.

i use 1st gear to park but thats it.

for a 200bhp car (roughly the same as mine) it wil be roughly the same.

it just feels like you only have 4 gears and are begging for a 5th.

with 200bhp i say a 4:1 is a pointless stupid diff.

you get the shortest lsd from the 318is.
