Right..my sport is getting its genuine bumpers and valances back on before getting painted next month and i was looking for your opinions on whether my colour scheme will work or not?
my idea is alpine 2 on the bottom and candy blue on top, kind of like dips' tourer as seen here

Image

my white is obviously whiter and the blue i,ve bought is a bit darker

so what do you guys think..do i go for it or not?

If I was to do it I would have the blue at the bottom.
I say go for it.

Wouldn't be my own chioce of colours but if those were the ones I was using I'd be tempted to do it the other way up - blue on the bottom half and white on top 8)

im not a fan of 2 tone cars at all but even then id say there is still to much of a contrast between those 2 colours for it to look like anything other than a clowns or a childs toy car. imo of course.

Choose two different colours. While it's flattering to dips to choose a similar set up, it's obviously inspired by his work and the first thing I'd say is it lacks originality.

Having said that, it does look good.

Perhaps work with a different colour for the lower half, if you really like white?

I always thought a red over black E30 would be nice. I think the white over blue is a bit harsh.

These two tone set ups dont really work because they break up the lines of the car. Thats the objective reason why they look odd after that its down to taste. but it won't help resale value either
