im looking to buy and e30 and im wondering if someone can tell me what year the facelifts started as i was a post face lift car.
if anyone could post a pic of a pre and post facelift that would be wicked.

I think it was 88 for the 2 door saloon and 1991 for the convertible, not sure about the touring
You can tell by the rear lights if it post or pre faclift... Vertical reverse light is prefacelift and horizontal reverselight is facelift..
if you want the facelift then your going be looking for the mtech 2 kit (mtech 1 was for prefacelift)
Other than ebay best place to look is on the zone, thats where i found my tech 2 kit. Post up a topic on the wanted section and hope for the best, mind you it seems alot of people have been looking fot tech 2 kits and bumpers recently.
