Yes,
basically a t34 is a combination of t3 sized housings with t4 sized wheels
I'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong
hope this helps

so if i was to get a t34 im guessing it'll fit straight on to my manifold.
and if ive got this right a t34 is a t3 with t4 bits?

Yes and Yes. T3 commonly found on Sierra Cossies in 55 and 60 trims. And the T34 as found on the Escos. Basically the manifold to turbine housing flange will match up if its the same as the first number of the (Garrett) turbo as Garrett utilises the family system (T1,T2,T3,T4 etc). So if the fanimold has a t2 flange, you could fit a t25, t28, GT28RS etc etc turbos on there. If it has a t3 flange then you can fit a t3, t34 on there etc. This is the case 99% of the time, but it does always pay to check.
