We just had a meet today, Many differnt cars. About 200 cars showed up. Here is a link to the photo section.

Check on some of the engine shots. There was a very loud 735 that showed up. Once we got a peek under the the hood we knew why.

Actully the weather was really hot. 96 deg with a "feels like" 103 deg due to humidity. It was a good deal for $10 for all you could eat, burgers , Hotdogs and chips and Beverages. They had pelnty of food. I really enjoyed it.

It was nice in the shade, and in the afternoon we had a 3 minute shower so that cooled everyting off.

The lotus was really nice, and the 735 with the Corvet LT1 engine was a mean ride. Plus we had some really nice older BMWs, a good showing of 5 and 6s.

Not very many E30s, and I drove the Mini there because it has AC. My Baur needs a compressor, I since I only drive it on weekends I have yet to fix it.

Yea he made it but his car didnt. He was driving with a group of cars on some back roads to the place. He just had a Auto to Manual swap done and it sounds like the transmission cross brace came undone or the driveshaft broke. Something that caused the rear wheels to lock while going around a corner.. Its totaled.
