Was lowered about 40mm.

Rubbed like a B*****

Had it raised and Arches rolled @ Atec.

Now she only rubs on full boost when the rear squats.

Stiffer adjustable dampers will have to be ordered.

Apart from that sweet :D

it really looks amazing man!

what wing mirrors are they? they look bonkers!

have you thought about dropping the front ever so slightly or are you thinking the extra weight of the m50 will do that for you?

8) looks really good

Mirrors are M3 (e36) Replicas.

The front can not be dropped otherwise the intercooler would be hitting on most of the speed bumps in London.

The M50 is to go in the new project not this one. Its the Black 1990 E30 above with Mtech 2.

This has a M20 Turbo and lots of other bits, which i am very happy with. Check out the old thread

For those that may be concerned, the grinder was used to persuade the casting flash off the calipers, that gave the required clearance to sit under the Borbet B's

the structure is as per O.E, TBH even removing a few mm would make no odds, the calipers were designed to haul 4 tonnes of E38( inc luggage/passengers) to a standstill repeatedly, the E30 is approx 60% of that weight maxed out.

Nice pix, daaaaaaamn the workshop was a shithole that day, Uber tidy again now thank god.

as for the "end of the month" possibly end of Sept Dimmy

@ Ian, I have another set of rims off the car if you're wanting to have a mock up before comitting £Â£Ã‚£, they are mine so they're NOT for sale but you can bolt em on to try if you want dude.

Dimmy, This is a stunning car.

I have known of it for about 6-7 years, One of my customers used to own it and kept it in great condition. It then got sold to a lad from colchester who didn't really take great care of it.

The original owner will cry when he sees this, He really misses the car (was gutted when I bought mine as it wasso similar) andwill be chuffed that the new owner takesthat much care and pride in it.

Good to see you at Ace, Car stole the night imo.

Thanks for that mate. It was a good, al though i got late due to football. But to be honest I loved the 300CS that was quality and the guy was really nice, no attitude, down to earth and we talked ages. He's got an M30 in it, and we talking about turbo charging :x

Been waiting for some good weather, so i could do some bits and bobs before Aces on Monday.

I wanted Black carpets after the new interior to complement it, but could not find any. BMW new carpet was £300ish plus (inc VAT) an even then its not black.

Searching the zone and found a Post by Alymen 'dyed my carpets today!'. http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name ... hlight=dye

So a month ago got the 5l Dye (i want to do a couple of e30's if this turns out good), Caliper paint, Dremel Kit, Leather conditioner, German Style number plates and Surround.

After getting back from work today i thought i'll get started;

I also got new Mats 3 months ago. The colour never matched. So i thought i'll give a ago dying them Black ago.

My old car, robbed of its seats

Whoever aksed, no you can't get them with a rear armrest, the centre is too narrow. Have you thought about getting them re-trimmed dimmy? They would look awsome, as some of the bolsters are actually blue :o:

Whoever owns it, in my opinion that car will always be mine :P  Take care of her, im sure you and Ant will!!
